As you ascend through the property, villas are thoughtfully nestled within the vibrant greenery. At the hilltop, Samiya reveals its most captivating features: a stunning infinity pool that seems to spill into the horizon, and an elegant restaurant offering sweeping, uninterrupted ocean views.

Eco Conscious and sustainable
At Samiya, sustainability is woven into every detail of the guest experience. The rooms are carefully designed with high-quality insulation to naturally stay cool longer, reducing the need for energy-intensive air conditioning while maintaining comfort. Each roof is crafted from traditional Balinese alang-alang thatch, a natural material sourced and built by local artisans, blending eco-conscious design with cultural heritage. Inside, furniture and décor are made from locally sourced wood and materials, showcasing the skill and creativity of Balinese craftsmanship while supporting local artists.
In addition to a rainwater collection system, Samiya operates its own on-site water treatment system, recycling wastewater to nourish the surrounding plant life. This sustainable approach helps conserve Bali’s limited freshwater resources and minimises the resort’s environmental impact.
By generating a significant portion of our energy on-site using our solar energy system, we reduce our reliance on conventional power sources and lower our overall carbon footprint. The system works seamlessly with our energy-efficient infrastructure, ensuring that lighting, cooling, and essential services operate with minimal environmental impact.
In the restaurant, sustainability meets flavour with a diverse menu featuring an abundance of vegetarian and vegan dishes, celebrating fresh, locally grown, organic ingredients.
